In collaboration with systems neuroscientist Dr Emmett Thompson and researcher in human conceptual representation researcher Dan Humphries.
Inspired by Meinong's object theory, Meinong's Jungle is a thought experiment that aids us in visualizing incomplete objects as tangible entities. Meinong's Jungle decodes raw EEG neural signatures into 'concept-objects' and visualizes concept-object interpolation in latent space.
The project recognizes the need to visualize higher dimensional data through alternative interfaces, and studies how DMNs (default-mode networks) in our brains, contextual-associations networks in neural networks, and game interaction networks triangulate. Meinong's Jungle examines topological deformations, structures, and relationship within a network of concepts. Outputs may include synthetic dataset generation and EEG-driven multiplayer game.
